mysore style ashtanga yoga starter programme: a 5 day course with Ryan Spielman
starts tuesday 19th march, 7.00 – 8.00pm, chelsea
price £65
Self-practice is the traditional way in which ashtanga yoga is taught. It’s practised first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. At triyoga you turn up within the allotted time and do your practice at your own pace. There’s a teacher in the room and an assistant to help. We’ve created this course because many students feel intimidated by the idea of attending self-practice or have the misconception that they must be an advanced practitioner before they attend. Ryan oversees Mysore style self-practice at Chelsea, so you’ll be in safe hands! The course takes places across five weekday mornings – although it will be an early start, we serve up free porridge (with toppings) at the café especially for self-practice go-ers.
Ideal for those: early birds who enjoy routine, like to challenge themselves and feel a part of a community. Also if you’re looking for a way to build strength and fitness before work.
