The art of mindfulness is a continuous practice that brings our body, heart and mind to the present moment. This course will guide everyone through a personal journey starting on the mat and aims to take the teaching back to everyday life.
pilates beginners: a 6 week course with Charlotte Comer

This course is suitable for anyone who is new to yoga or for those yogi’s wishing to revisit the fundamentals of matwork Pilates. The progressive weekly course is designed to touch all aspects in building strength, flexibility, coordination and alignment.

back to yoga school: reading bodies an all-day workshop with Lisa Sanfilippo

Reading bodies is a one day workshop that aims to guide teachers through more impactful classroom teachings. Understanding each students body, helping with core alignment and hands-on adjustments provides a healthier and safer environment to practice. Verbal and physical communication will be key components in this workshop.
the four foundations of mindfulness: a series of workshops with Jill Satterfield + Ajahn Amaro

The mind plays a big part in everyone’s practice. Gaining awareness can help guide emotions and thoughts which can strengthen performance. Mindfulness of the breath, sensations and tone will be explored in this weekend filled with workshops. Through the practice, we can learn to shift habits and conditioned patterns that no longer serve us.
the resiliency practices of yoga + buddhism: a weekend of workshops with Cyndi Lee
starts on Friday 22 September, 7.30 – 9.30pm, camden
Buddhism can help bring more balance to yoga by being fully present in each and every activity. The five individual workshops will touch the following key points: rhythm, resilience, union, stillness and recovery to encounter deeper engagement. When everything is included, our comfort zone expands and resiliency arises.
sacred energy arts 3 day immersion: a fully integrated set of workshops with Matthew Cohen
starts on Tuesday 19 September, 9.00am – 1.00pm, camden
This introduction to Sacred Energy Arts will focus on building strength and grace; emphasis will be placed on cultivating stillness in motion, movement in meditation and the breath. There will be a strong emphasis on the five element qigong practice which alternates standing poses with walking meditation. Matthew’s long trajectory in yoga, bodywork, energetic study and martial arts uniquely qualify him into this multi-dimensional approach.

cultural appropriation in yoga: a teachers’ symposium with Max Strom, Jason Birch, Satish Sharma + Sally Kempton

We are hosting a special symposium this month open to all. Our range of panellists will provide a rich discussion with different points of view regarding cultural appropriation. We hope to have many participating by weighing in their personal views on the current adaptations in yoga and what the future of yoga could look like.
