stress awareness: hear from triyoga teachers + therapists…

Today marks the start of National Stress Awareness Month and the beginning of an important opportunity to talk about stress – and how to manage it in today’s non-stop world.

The stats on modern-day stress are astonishing. A recent study by the Mental Health Foundation found ‘74% of UK adults have felt so stressed at some point over the last year they felt overwhelmed or unable to cope’. With stress-related illness on the rise, this month’s conversation is an important one for so many of us.

So what can we do?

Yoga, meditation and treatments are powerful tools that can help ease stress in daily life. Practised regularly, they are also extremely effective in helping alleviating symptoms of chronic stress. Throughout April, we’ll be posting blogs from the unique perspective of our experienced yoga, meditation and mindfulness teachers and therapists.

Together we’ll explore how to truly de-stress daily life. Expect insight on how to recognise areas of stress, tools for making time to de-stress and practical ways to work through stress stored within your mind, body and soul. The blog will become a sanctuary for all things stress-free.

Here’s a taste of what’s to come:

– Vinyasa Flow and meditation teacher James Rafael will speak about using mindful movement to stress release when seated meditation just won’t do
– Experienced triyoga therapists will share details of popular treatments such as guided reflexology and acupuncture to address symptoms of stress in the mind, body and soul
– Women’s health osteopath Anvi Trivedi will speak to the holistic healing that takes place when we consciously move through loss
– And so much more…

We offer 750+ classes a week and 300+ treatments varying in style and skill level. We hope they help you on your journey to reducing stress. So brew a nice cup of tea, curl up and see what speaks to you:
