Thoughts, emotions, and feelings can be beautiful human qualities that intersect and form the luminous tapestry of our consciousness. Yet, we receive little training on how to meet our mental and emotional states when cause undue stress, anxiety and worry. Through the practice of mindfulness, we can learn to shift habits and conditioned patterns that no longer serve us. We can also begin cultivating insights that foster ease and freedom.

beginners kundalini: a 4 week course with Sivaroshan Sahathevan

This course is the perfect opportunity to get started with a very transformative form of yoga – ‘The Yoga of Awareness’. This course will give you the confidence to attend scheduled kundalini yoga classes and workshops. Sivaroshan will use gentle movement and breathing exercises, and you will learn kundalini Yoga mantras and a number of meditations that will specifically release stress.

beginners ashtanga: a 5 week course with Joyce McMiken

Ashtanga yoga is a dynamic and physically challenging style of yoga, whereby each movement is synchronised with the breath, and a set series of poses are linked in a constant flow. This creates a detoxifying heat, and the consistency of this practice allows you to quickly improve your upper and lower body strength, flexibility and balance. This course creates a strong and safe foundation from which you can confidently join any of our level one or open level classes or ashtanga self-practice.

yoga beginners: a 6 week course with Tanya Love
starts Saturday 14 January, 10.00 – 11.00am, chelsea

This course is suitable for anyone new to yoga or for any yogi wishing to revisit the fundamental poses. Instruction in meditation and relaxation techniques will also be given. With Tanya, we will build a strong and safe foundation from which you can then discover the different styles of yoga in any of triyoga’s open and level one classes.

For those that find our Soho centre more accessible, Leela will be teaching a yoga beginners course there. Similar to Tanya’s course, this course will build a strong and safe foundation for you in basic yoga poses and meditation and relaxation techniques. This will give you the skills and confidence to try any of triyoga’s open and level one classes.
