Looking for the yoga fundamentals? Join Adam in his popular yoga beginners course, which provides a safe and fun space to learn the basics of yoga postures (asanas), sequencing, healthy alignment and breath techniques (pranayama). Adam builds the practice week-by-week, providing a pace that ensures personal attention while improving our posture, breath, tone, strength, flexibility, and a greater ability to cope with stress. Upon finishing this course, you can confidently discover the different styles of yoga in any of triyoga’s level one or open-level classes.

In addition to covering the basic yoga postures to create a strong foundation for any practice, instruction in meditation and relaxation techniques will also be given. Susannah’s teaching style is her own, incorporating influences from many styles and traditions of yoga. Each student is treated as an individual, encouraged to work at their own level and take responsibility of their own well-being.

starts Saturday 19 November, 10.00 – 11.00am, chelsea

Some of the many benefits of yoga include: improvement in posture and breathing, increased tone, strength and flexibility, a greater ability to cope with stress and a feeling of calm. This course creates a strong and safe foundation from which you can then investigate the different styles of yoga in any of triyoga’s Open and Level One classes. Originally trained as a contemporary dancer, Ruth brings her extensive knowledge of anatomy to her students and is interested in yoga creating space in the body, mind and heart – allowing us to be open to all experiences and to live fully in the present.
