Pregnancy and postnatal treatments are a big part of our women’s health offering. To help you find what’s right for you, we’ve rounded up a short list of wonderful treatments available at triyoga which are ideal for supporting mum and baby throughout pregnancy and after birth. Both online and in-person treatments are listed below.

In-person treatments at our five London centres
The Gentle Birth Method is a comprehensive week-by-week approach incorporating creative healing massage, reflexology, craniosacral therapy and nutrition to nurture and promote one of the most natural human instincts – the birth of the baby. This method promotes birth as a joyous and fearless experience and ensures a gentle and peaceful entrance into this world for the baby. The philosophy was devised by obstetrician Dr. Gowri Motha over 20 years ago and supports the well-being of a mother and a baby.
Pregnancy and post-partum massage – With all the necessary physical and emotional adjustments during and after pregnancy, massage can bring comfort, support and a wonderful sense of nurturing. It helps to reduce stress, relieve muscle cramps, reduce blood pressure, improve circulation, alleviate back pain and headaches and release tight muscles.
Pregnancy acupuncture and Chinese medicine have been shown to be clinically effective for a number of conditions from fertility (male/female) to pre and postnatal care. The procedure involves inserting and manipulating filiform needles into various points on the body to balance hormone levels and stimulate blood circulation, making for a healthier pregnancy and birth. Acupuncture can be used as a drug-free alternative in your pregnancy for pre-existing conditions such as headaches, back pain and hay fever, as well as for pregnancy related conditions such as nausea, sciatica and post birth symptoms.
Mindfulness birth and parenting coaching is an evidence-based approach to reducing perinatal anxiety and postnatal depression developed by Oxford Mindfulness Centre at Oxford University. It’s an online nine-week coached training course with benefits that include taming stress, anxiety, fears, strong sensations and pain in pregnancy, childbirth and parenting; developing the art of communication with yourself, partner and support team; gaining an in-depth understanding of child development and so much more.
VortexHealing® Divine Energy Healing is a holistic system of energetic healing that channels divine energy and consciousness to transform emotional patterns, heal the physical body and all aspects of the body’s energy system, including the chakras, energy pathways and energy bodies.
