Myofascial Release Fascia is a tough tissue that surrounds every muscle, bone, organ, nerve, + blood vessel in the body. Myofascial release is a highly effective form of structural bodywork which seeks to create good function by undoing fascial restrictions, which may have occurred from injury, inflammation, as well as over time from poor postural habits or repetitive motion. Aromatherapy Massage uses essential oils, derived from plants, to affect your mood and alleviate pain. In aromatherapy massage, essential oils are mixed with a carrier oil like sweet almond, apricot kernel, or grapeseed oil. The massage therapist uses up to five oils in a mixture, and chooses the oils based on what you need. Lomi Lomi Massage is the traditional style of massage from Hawaii. Unlike conventional massage, Lomi lomi strokes are performed with the use of the whole forearms. Rolling and gliding actions with varied degrees of pressure effectively ease out areas of tension and, combined with sweeping strokes over larger areas of the body, ensure a sense of deep relaxation and wholeness.
