Hello, I trust that you and your loved ones are well.
Firstly I want to thank you for staying with triyoga and supporting us by coming to our on line classes and workshops – it really means a lot.
I have been thinking about how people are coping during this global crisis. For me, it’s a mixture of emotions that the present moment brings from an appreciation of the absolute beauty that surrounds us, to a dollop of fear and then a sort of nostalgia for the past with maybe a wish that I had appreciated it more at the time (without giving myself a hard time). And then there’s the future, what will things be like and when and then the blue sky for the potential future we can, with grace and hard work, have.
I strongly believe that together we have a bright future, and we have to be prepared for the ride…
Around the world different things are happening at different times and, in the coming days, the Government will release key information on what a stepped release from lockdown (or lockup) will look like.
We have already begun planning as best we can assuming that some things like social distancing will continue for quite some time. When we reopen our centres, this will be based not just on Government guidelines but also on the best advice available to ensure your safety, that of our teachers, therapists and staff. In short, our hope is to go above and beyond — this is not the time for half measures. We want you to feel like you are home and safe when you walk back into our centres.
Some of the things will include:
- The highest levels of hygiene throughout the spaces
- Closely monitored social distancing in the studios and reception
- Appropriate PPE
- Probably closed changing areas
- Smaller classes as appropriate
- Fewer treatments as appropriate
We will continue with our online offering, which we will expand, so even if you can’t make it to a centre you can still take your favourite class.
We will update you more on these plans and protocols as we move forward so we can meet again. Please keep well and again thank you for being with us .
Best wishes,
Jonathan
