Jonathan Sattin, founder of triyoga, shares an update on the latest UK Government guidelines
Hello
Well, another week and more changes to the UK Government’s Covid-19 guidelines. Our initial plan to ensure that triyoga centres had levels of Covid-19 protection well in excess of the original guidelines when we reopened, has been validated many times since. We will continue to be vigilant and take any further steps we need to keep you safe. As our experience of Covid-19 develops there are many reports of improved protective products and equipment which we are investigating. Should any of them provide enhancements to our current processes, rest assured we will implement them.
So, as the UK Government has brought in new rules I wanted to reassure you that triyoga centres are and will continue to be designated Covid-19 secure environments – and class capacities in our studios remain the same.
For our students who are unable to work from home or who live locally and can visit a studio in a secure way, your teachers and therapists are ready to provide the yoga and treatments we all need during these testing times. I find I need yoga and meditation even more as we all navigate Covid-19.
At the same time we fully appreciate that coming to our studios may not be possible or ideal for you right now, we know the latest guidelines are forecast to be in place for 6 months and it is essential we all take care of ourselves during these times. For you, we have a huge range of online classes and workshops.
For those that love a class environment we have live stream classes with your usual teacher and many of your fellow students. I am delighted to hear that live streaming has developed a ‘warm social atmosphere’. To support live streaming we also have a large number of online classes direct from the teacher’s home location – see schedule.
We have an incredible array of online workshops with world class teachers and we are adding more each day as we seek to expand your choice. These include Matthew Sanford, Anodea Judith, John Stirk, Richard Rosen, Tara Judelle and many more. These workshops also have the benefit of the catchup service which is proving very popular. You can choose the most convenient time for you to take the online workshop and it’s simple – when you register you can attend at the scheduled time or use the video link sent the next day.
In order for you to take advantage of the huge selection of online and in-studio classes, we have designed two Annual Unlimited passes. These passes give you the flexibility to continue with your practice in whatever manner and the ability to try new styles of yoga or other disciplines, which normally you would not have the time to enjoy.
Both provide the best value option for our students:
- Annual Unlimited – studio + live stream + online classes – £1,150
- Annual Unlimited – live stream + online classes – £900
I would also like to give a shout out to our partners who create delicious healthy food and drink in our centre cafes. We all know how difficult the hospitality sector is at the moment, so if you are able to support them it would be much appreciated.
