Q. What is Feldenkrais?
The Feldenkrais Method® offers a unique and practical way to realise our potential more fully. It is an educational method focusing on learning and movement, which can bring about improved movement and enhanced functioning. It is named after its originator, Moshe Feldenkrais an engineer and physicist as well as a Judo teacher.

Q. What can I expect from a Feldenkrais class at triyoga?

Classes take place lying on the floor, or sometimes sitting. The teacher talks you through a sequence of movements that works like a physical riddle. Each new movement is repeated and explored, enabling you to become familiar with it, and to begin to play with unaccustomed movement relationships. By engaging your curiosity, gently and at your own rate, you learn to explore the world of your internal sensation. You learn to use this awareness to release chronic patterns of tension and create new movement possibilities.

You can attend any Feldenkrais class with all of our class pricing options. View all pricing options here. If you’re new to triyoga we recommend:
30 days of unlimited classes for £54 or you can try one class with a 1 class pass for £17

Q. Are Feldenkrais classes at triyoga suitable for beginners?
Yes, Feldenkrais classes are open to all levels from complete beginners to more experienced students.

Daniel Gelblum

Dan Gelblum has created a unique style of exercise, which enhances well-being, general health , fitness, self-awareness and deep relaxation.
As a highly skilled Feldenkrais practitioner, he uses his method in combination with his experience of Yoga, Massage, Pilates, and Martial Arts to deliver exceptional results. He focuses in fine movements resulting in rapid progress in flexibility and strength.

Rachel Shoer Geaves

Rachel met and studied directly with Dr Moshe Feldenkrais. She has taught for over 30 years and has also been involved in Tai Chi for many years which is a strong influence on her approach. She is a trained Alexander teacher and integrates this into her teaching. Learn to move with a greater freedom and ease. The aim is to rebalance the body and promote a deep feeling of well being.
