Covid-19 Policy

Public Health England (PHE) or equivalent posters will be on display informing staff, students and clients of social distancing and cleanliness/hygiene protocols throughout the centres

We commit to the wellbeing of staff, students and clients, and if they show/have any signs of COVID-19, they will be sent home to follow UK Government regulations.

It is down to the individual student or client to take reasonable personal responsibility when taking part in physical activity.

We will comply with any health designation documentation that the UK Government implements, and we ask for all students and clients to agree to all Covid-19 Health and Safety measures required to visit any triyogacentre.

PPE is mandatory, all staff and students will be required to wear PPE on arrival, in-centre and departing the building. Students are not expected to wear PPE whilst in class unless required by US or UK Government guidelines. If students wish to wear PPE it is their own personal choice.

For any in-person treatments PPE is required to be worn by the client at all times, and clients will be requested to bring their own mask.

You will be asked to wash your hands before your treatment. Sanitisers will be on offer throughout the centre and people will be directed to where they can clean their hands.

We will ensure that social distancing is adhered to throughout the centres at all times by staff, students and clients.

At time of booking, we request for all students/clients to confirm that neither they nor anyone they have been in close proximity to, have any symptoms related to Covid-19 within the last 14 days.

We ask all staff, students and clients to agree to having their temperature checked prior to entering any triyogacentre by a member of staff. If their temperature is above UK Government guidelines they will not be permitted to enter the building.

We ask all staff, students and clients to confirm that if they or anyone they have been in close proximity with show any symptoms related to Covid-19 within fourteen days before visiting any triyogacentre, they will contact the centre immediately.

We ask all students/clients if they have visited a triyogacentre for a class, workshop, course, training or treatment and show any symptoms relating to Covid-19 after their visit, they will contact the centre team immediately. Necessary protocols will be actioned if there is any possibility a staff member, student or client has visited a triyoga centre and after visiting is showing any symptoms of Covid-19.

If there is a COVID-19 case in the facility, We will follow the PHE Guidance – COVID-19 – Cleaning in non-healthcare settings while cleaning all areas of the facility.

Staff will carry out regular cleaning of high-contact touch points throughout the premises every day.

Therapists will clean treatment rooms between every treatments. This includes removing all linen and wiping down the bed and all surfaces and touch points.

Gloves are not mandatory as the World Health Organisation (WHO) advice is that it is preferable not to wear gloves but to regularly wash your hands.

We have ensured necessary processes are in place to make sure social distancing is adhered to at all times for all staff, students and clients with 2m spacing marketing on the floor and if necessary outside the entrance.

Changing Room/Saunas/Showers/Toilets

Our changing rooms will only be accessible for use of the toilets and hand washing facilities – showers will not be available. Saunas will be accessible, but social distancing and sanitising measures will apply.

Extra care/signposting will be provided to maintain social distancing when in these areas. Spray and cloths will be available for student/client use for touch points.

We ask for all staff and students to follow the social distancing guidelines (2m) at all times. We have changed our studio layouts to allow for appropriate space between each mat. There will be clear signage in the form of floor markings and a system in place to manage the flow of students entering and leaving classes

There will be a minimum 30-minute window in between classes for thorough cleaning and sanitisation, so no ‘waiting around’ in groups.

We will provide mats but recommend that students bring their own mat and any props that they would like to use. The use of triyoga props will be kept to an absolute minimum and they, along with our mats, will be sanitised after being used.
