Frequently asked questions
Which teacher training should I start with?
It depends where you’re heading. To become a yoga teacher, start with a 200-hour foundation training — the industry-standard first qualification. To teach Pilates, choose our Pilates teacher training, and if you’re already qualified, advanced training deepens your craft while specialist trainings add a focus — from pregnancy and children’s yoga to sound, yin and trauma-informed work. Every current training is listed above with dates, prices and full details.
Do I need to be an advanced practitioner — or already a teacher?
200-hour training, no — a committed, consistent practice matters far more than advanced poses. Advanced training requires a 200-hour certification, and some specialist trainings are designed for qualified teachers while others welcome experienced practitioners and related professionals. Every training lists its own entry requirements — and if you’re unsure, ask for course advice and we’ll tell you honestly whether now is the right time.
Are the trainings accredited?
Yes — our yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance-accredited, the Pilates training leads to the YMCA Level 3 Diploma in Instructing Pilates Matwork alongside SHP certification, and specialist trainings are CPD-eligible. Each training page states exactly which body accredits it and what you’ll graduate with.
How do applications and bookings work?
Our yoga foundation and advanced trainings start with a short application — no payment is taken upfront, and a deposit secures your place once you’re accepted. The Pilates training enrols directly through our partner SHP Health, and shorter specialist trainings can be booked straight from the trainings timetable or via the buttons on each training below.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes — payment plans are available on most trainings, and early-bird prices are shown with their deadlines so you know exactly what applies. Each training page lists the current options.
Where do trainings take place?
Camden studio — with some programmes, like the Pilates training, blending in-person weekends with online modules.
Not ready to commit to a full training?
Start smaller: our workshops and courses are the perfect bridge, and many specialist trainings welcome dedicated practitioners. Or simply ask for course advice — we’ll help you map the right pathway at the right pace.
