Meet our teachers

Michael is an internationally renowned yoga and meditation teacher and facilitator who has led over 3,000 hours of yoga teacher training across 15 years of teaching. A Yoga Alliance CPD and YACEP Senior Teacher, he is the founder of Krama Yoga, a community and yoga training school, and of Just Breathe, a community-led organisation supporting minds and mental health.
An accomplished teacher, speaker and author, Michael blends deep respect for yoga’s ancient traditions and philosophies with a modern perspective for the 21st century — dedicated to giving trainees the tools and techniques for teaching in the real world. He believes, above all else, that yoga is a practice with purpose.

Fuelled by a fascination with anatomy and a desire to ask “why”, Adam has taught thousands of hours of his signature alignment-based vinyasa yoga in studios and at conferences across more than 20 countries. His teaching is creative, effective and clearly sequenced — balancing flexibility and strength, physically and mentally.
Hundreds of teachers have benefitted from Adam’s global CPD programmes, designed to refine teaching skill and educate in the contemporary understanding of the human body. Beyond the studio, he teaches award-winning retreats, writes for Yoga Journal and hosts the Honestly Unbalanced podcast.

Dimuthu is a BACP accredited integrative psychotherapist, trained at the Minster Centre — one of Europe’s leading training institutions — with a mindfulness-based approach incorporating trauma-sensitive, body-based work.
Alongside her work as a psychotherapist, she is a senior yoga and meditation teacher with over 12 years of teaching experience, a specialist in restorative yoga, and has a keen interest in Hindu mythology and spirituality.

Frequently asked questions
Who is the 200-hour teacher training for?
For experienced, committed students who want to teach — or who want a structured deep dive into practice, study and self-development. You’ll ideally have at least 1 year of regular yoga practice (or 6 months if you already teach another movement discipline). If you’re unsure, use the course advice form and we’ll help you choose the right intake.
What style of yoga will I learn to teach?
You’ll be trained to teach vinyasa-focused hatha — a breath-led, intelligently sequenced style with strong foundations. It’s adaptable, so you can develop a teaching approach that reflects your strengths and supports a wide range of student bodies and needs.
Can I practise at Triyoga while I’m training?
Yes. From the moment you pay your deposit, you’ll have access to a Triyoga teacher training membership at 50% of the Unlimited membership cost (classes across Triyoga studios, excluding reformer Pilates). A second 12‑month membership is then offered at 25% discount.
Are mats and props provided?
Yes. Mats and props are available free of charge at Triyoga — though many trainees like to have their own for hygiene reasons.
Are there any extra costs?
You’ll need to purchase or borrow the relevant course texts. We also recommend trainee insurance once you begin practice teaching members of the public.
Do I need to be able to do advanced poses?
No. Teacher training is about understanding, skill and safe practice — not “performing” shapes. You’ll learn how to work with variations, options and intelligent progression.
Is there homework and assessment?
Yes. Homework runs throughout the programme and may include reading, written assignments, practice teaching and class attendance. There is both a teaching assessment and a written assessment. If needed, assessments can be re-done (up to three times).
What if I get injured during the training?
The teaching team will support you to continue safely where possible. The course is non-refundable, but if you need to leave your cohort you may be able to join the following cohort at the same point in the training (subject to availability and timing).
What qualification will I receive on graduation?
You’ll graduate as a 200-hour Registered Certified Yoga Teacher, accredited by Yoga Alliance — a widely recognised credential for teaching in the UK and internationally.
Are scholarships available?
Yes — a limited number of scholarships are available per training. Email [email protected] to find out more.
