Course Details
We believe yoga is for everyone — including children. It supports and enhances physical, emotional and cognitive development and all-round wellbeing: vital skills in a world that places increasing demands on children.
A practical, specialist training in teaching yoga to children — led by Susannah Hoffman, one of the foremost children’s yoga teachers in the UK and author of the best-selling book Yoga for Kids. Across five days you will learn to teach every age group — 2–3, 4–6, 7–9 and 10–14 — combining yoga asana with movement activities that develop coordination, creative expression and motor skills.
The training covers each age group’s physical and cognitive development and typical behaviour, class planning per age group, managing large groups, and the practical legalities of teaching children — insurance, DBS checks and more. School teachers are warmly welcome, including those who want to weave yoga into regular classroom time.
