faqs / workshops + courses
A workshop is longer than a regular class, and gives you the opportunity to dive deeper into a particular topic, hone an element of your practice, get to know a style of yoga, or simply have fun! Workshops can include discussion, and theory in addition to physical practice. We offer a wide variety of workshops at triyoga, from dynamic and sweaty sessions, to philosophy and restorative, pregnancy sessions – and everything in between! Workshops can range from two hours, to a whole day long. View the triyoga workshop and events schedule.
Like our classes, some workshops are ‘open to all’ and suitable for all levels, and others are recommended for a certain level. Read the information about the workshop carefully before booking as it will state who it is most suitable for. If it still feels unclear, please contact us and our front of house team will be happy to answer any questions.
Whether you’re looking for something gentle to help you unwind, or something dynamic to make you sweat, we have a variety of workshops to suit everyone. Some workshops are open to all and others are tailored for a specific level, so read the workshop information carefully before you book. If after having a browse on our workshops page you’re still unsure, the best thing to do is get in touch with our front of house team who will be happy to recommend something suitable.
Courses and workshops can be booked online, over the phone or when you visit us. Courses and workshops need to be booked in advance, but always ask on the day if you are interest in case there are still spaces. View triyoga workshops and courses.
For courses and workshops we can only provide a refund (minus a 10% + VAT admin fee) for cancellations made more than 28 days before the start date. For cancellations less than 28 days before the course or workshop there will be no refunds or transfers unless:
- the workshop is full and your place can be filled from a waiting list, or
- you are sick/injured/pregnant and can provide a doctor’s note
In these cases we will refund the fee, minus a 20% + VAT admin fee. All clients are asked to agree to triyoga terms and conditions upon booking a course or workshop. Read our full terms and conditions here.
In the unlikely event a course or workshop is cancelled by triyoga, ticket holders will be offered either a cash refund or the option of being transferred into an alternative event.
Some people wear baggy, loose fitting bottoms and a t-shirt. Other people wear tight stretchy leggings and tops. The only thing that matters is that you wear comfortable clothes that you can easily move and stretch in.
As you move through a workshop you can get warm so it’s good to wear clothes that keep you cool. However you may also want to bring a jumper if there are relaxation elements, or periods where you will be sitting and listening. Some people also bring socks for the relaxation phase.
If it’s a dynamic workshop you may get sweaty and some people like to bring a small towel to their workshop.
It’s always good to bring a bottle of water with you – especially as workshops are longer than classes. Workshops will often include some discussion and theory, so you may also want to bring a small notebook and pen to make notes with.
Yes you can get CPD points for attending workshops for both British Wheel of Yoga and Yoga Alliance USA.
