baby massage classes

Due to Covid-19, we’ve had to hit ‘pause’ on these classes for now so the information below does not reflect our current offering. We will be notifying students directly via our eNewsletter when they return to the schedule. Please click here to sign up for updates.

At triyoga we offer baby massage classes in Camden each week. We understand that babies are unpredictable so classes can be booked in advance or you have the convenient option to drop-in and pay in centre.

Q. What age group are baby massage classes suitable for?

triyoga baby classes are appropriate for babies from six weeks old to crawling.

Q. What can I expect from a baby massage class?

triyoga baby massage classes are designed with new mums in mind. Mums learn the basics of baby massage routines which they can then develop and practice at home. Each week we concentrate on a different area of the body. Classes are 1hr 15mins long and the environment is relaxed, nurturing and friendly. We have a cosy and heated room which is always toasty warm and group sizes are kept small to ensure each everyone gets the most out of the classes. We don’t mind when you last slept or showered, just come along and let us look after you. You are welcome to feed, change and generally see to your baby’s needs throughout the class.

Q. What do I need to bring?

Dress babies in easy to remove clothes ie, with poppers. Bring along a blanket to keep your little one warm. Prior to the first class please test your baby’s skin with the oil you will be using. This can be done on the inside of the upper arm and about 60 minutes observation time should be allowed. We recommend you use Organic Sunflower Seed Oil / Organic Grapeseed Oil / Organic Virgin Coconut Oil / Organic Light Olive Oil. Please avoid commercial baby oils as these are usually highly perfumed.

Q. What are the benefits of baby massage?

  • Improves circulation and alleviates colic, digestive problems, sleep problems, skin rashes, congestion in the chest, constipation and diarrhoea
  • A wonderful way to soothe your baby and relieve emotional distress
  • Encourages further bonding with your baby and enables you to further understand their needs
  • Great chance to meet like-minded mums in a relaxing atmosphere

Q. How much do baby massage classes cost at triyoga?

Baby massage classes cost £18 (10 credits) per class but are also included in our 20 credits for £25 offer. Find out more about our pricing.

Q. Can siblings watch the class?

Unfortunately, no. To maintain the calming nature of this class, it is not appropriate for older children to join in the session.

Q. What is the cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel your class you must do so within 3 hours of the class starting – either via your account on the triyoga website or the triyoga App. We cannot take cancellations over the phone. Classes cancelled later than three hours before the class are not refundable.
